OUR STORY
In 1974 Vern & Gloria Rozman purchased Gray Lumber and changed the name to Waukesha Building Center. The “Center” featured a lumber yard, True Value Hardware Store, and a cabinet showroom and warehouse.
In 1994, a huge fire changed our direction and focus. The lumber yard and store were lost. Vern & Gloria decided not to rebuild those, and just continue to focus on cabinets.
In 2000, we decided to change our name from G & V Distributing (which builders still know us by) to The Cabinet Place to better identify our business to our customers. You will receive exceptional customer service at our “place.” We’re not in a high traffic area which keeps our overhead low. Our customers are loyal friends who tell their friends and family about us. It is still owned and operated by the Rozman family and employees who have become like family
